Define, lead, and deliver engineering projects and objectives that create significant impact across a department, site, or operational area.
Apply advanced engineering knowledge and industry best practices to solve complex technical problems and improve manufacturing, process, equipment, or automation performance.
Lead investigations, root cause analyses, and continuous improvement initiatives to improve operational outcomes.
Act as a technical lead from concept through implementation and sustainability.
Coach and mentor junior engineers while promoting innovation and engineering excellence.
Support development and execution of the site automation and innovation roadmap.
Lead automation, digitalization, and process optimization projects from concept through commissioning and handover.
Develop, maintain, and improve PLC, SCADA, HMI, MES, and related automation applications.
Provide technical leadership for troubleshooting, investigations, deviations, CAPAs, and change controls.
Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Validation, and IT functions to deliver sustainable improvements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve equipment reliability, productivity, and operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, quality, cybersecurity, and engineering standards.
Provide coaching, training, and technical guidance to engineers, technicians, and stakeholders.
Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering or automation experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with PLCs, SCADA/HMI platforms, industrial communication protocols, and automated manufacturing systems.
Demonstrated experience leading engineering projects and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
Knowledge of Siemens, Rockwell, DeltaV, Ignition, Wonderware, or similar platforms.
Knowledge of industrial networking, data historians, digital transformation, and smart manufacturing concepts.
Project management and stakeholder management experience.
Understanding of GMP/GAMP requirements and computerized system validation.
Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time
Medium physical demand with ability to support manufacturing floor activities and equipment troubleshooting.
