Job summary

HYC (SINGAPORE), INC. PTE. LTD. is seeking a mechanical engineer to design, develop, document, prototype, and validate new automation products, with emphasis on DFM, DFA, and concurrent engineering.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering, be proficient in Creo or SolidWorks and FEA tools, able to read technical data, travel internationally, and contribute to testing, validation, and optimization with experience preferred (3+ years, fresh grads welcome).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or relevant field.
• Proficient in 3D CAD (Creo/SolidWorks) and FEA tools.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering data and standards.
• Willingness to travel internationally for project work.
• Fresh grads welcome; 3+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, documents, prototypes, and validates new automation products.
• DFM and DFA, concurrent engineering.
• Create fabrication, assembly, and layout drawings.
• Select and size standard components.
• Engage in new product development and sustaining engineering.
• Research new automation tech and drive performance improvements.
• Plan equipment installation and validation at customer sites.
• Gather requirements and review designs with customers.
• Collaborate to solve issues during installation and volume manufacturing.
• Drive optimization, QA, cost reduction, and user experience improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
