Job summary

YBP Library Services in Singapore seeks an Audit Senior to lead statutory audits from planning to completion, supervise junior staff and serve as the main day-to-day contact for clients.

You will plan, execute audits in line with SSAs, review fieldwork, assess risks, and prepare financial statements under SFRS(I) / SFRS for Small Entities, while managing timelines and budgets and mentoring the team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or a professional qualification (ACCA/CA/CPA) or equivalent.
• 2–4 years external audit experience in a public accounting firm.
• Strong knowledge of SFRS(I) and SSAs; experience leading fieldwork.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and complete statutory and special-purpose audits per SSAs.
• Lead audit teams during fieldwork and review work of associates.
• Identify audit risks and design appropriate procedures.
• Prepare financial statements and audit reports under SFRS(I) / SFRS for Small Entities.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to client management.
• Manage engagement timelines and budgets; inform managers and partners of key issues.
• Coach and develop junior team members.
