Talent Trader Group in Singapore is seeking an Audit Partner / Audit Manager to lead a portfolio of statutory audits, drive regional client growth, and expand the firm's practice while ensuring all engagements comply with SFRS and SSA.
Reporting to senior leadership, you will supervise audit execution, mentor teams, manage client relationships, and contribute to business development, pricing, and regulatory compliance to strengthen the firm’s statutory audit and advisory services.
The Audit Partner / Audit Manager will manage a portfolio of audit clients while driving regional client growth and practice expansion for the accounting firm. Reporting at the senior leadership level, this position is responsible for ensuring all audit engagements strictly adhere to Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and Singapore Standards on Auditing (SSA).
As a key statutory leader, you must hold a valid Practicing Certificate issued by the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) of Singapore. You will oversee audit engagement execution, lead cross-functional audit teams, manage client relationships, and participate in business development initiatives to expand the firm’s statutory audit and advisory client portfolio.
1. Audit Engagement & Portfolio Governance
Audit Execution: Lead and manage a portfolio of corporate statutory audit engagements across diverse industries, ensuring high audit quality, independence, and technical rigor.
Regulatory Compliance: Maintain full compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), Statutory Audit Regulations, and ACRA quality control frameworks.
Technical Review: Perform final technical reviews of audit files, financial statements, statutory reports, and management letters before final sign-off.
2. Practice Management & Business Development
Client Expansion: Actively participate in firm marketing, client pitches, and strategic business development initiatives to attract new audit clients.
Commercial Management: Manage engagement pricing, negotiations, billing, and practice profitability metrics.
3. Team Leadership & Practice Development
Audit Leadership: Lead, mentor, and coach audit senior executives and associates, fostering a culture of continuous learning and compliance.
Resource Planning: Oversee resource allocation, audit engagement timing, and workflow planning to meet statutory submission deadlines.
Professional Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA Singapore) or internationally recognized equivalent professional accounting qualification.
ACRA Practice License: Possess a current and valid Practicing Certificate issued by the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) of Singapore.
Professional Tenure: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience holding a valid ACRA Practicing Certificate in statutory audit within a public accounting firm environment.
Technical Mastery: Deep mastery of Singapore accounting standards (SFRS), audit methodologies (SSA), ACRA statutory guidelines, and local tax requirements.
Leadership & Collaboration: Proven track record in team leadership, cross-functional collaboration, client management, and practice development.
