A leading accounting firm in Singapore is seeking an Audit Associate to perform statutory audits for various entities under Singapore Financial Reporting Standards. The ideal candidate has at least 2-3 years of auditing experience and a relevant degree. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements and handling ad-hoc assignments. Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel, along with strong communication skills in Mandarin and English, is essential. A positive attitude and initiative are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in auditing practice.
• Experience in Finance – Audit/Taxation is preferred.
• Candidates should have good verbal and written communication skills.

Job description

Job Description:

• To perform statutory audit for different type of entities (e.g. Companies, branches, MCST etc.) in accordance to Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (“SFRS”) and Singapore Standards on Auditing (“SSA”).
• To prepare audited financial statements in accordance with SFRS and SSA.
• To prepare full tax computations and relevant schedules.
• Handle accounting assignments and other ad-hoc projects as assigned.
• Follow up on client and engagement outstanding matters independently.

Job Requirements:

• Possess a minimum of Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, ACCA, CPA or other relevant bachelor's degrees will be considered.
• Candidate who started Singapore CA Qualification (f.k.a SQP Programmes) under SAC will be preferred.
• Candidate who has completed all ACCA modules will be preferred.
• Preferably experience in Finance – Audit / Taxation or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in auditing practice.
