Job summary

AMD Singapore is seeking a seasoned MTS Test Engineer to own test solutions for next-gen AMD products. You will drive pre-silicon characterization, silicon bring-up, and post-silicon validation, collaborating with global teams on test plans, debug, and reliability.

Strong firmware, DFT/ATE, and HSM expertise are essential. You will lead pattern development, optimize test content, and contribute to product margins across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in the semiconductor industry with test engineering expertise.
• Experience in Fuse and Security module development, including pattern development and debugging.
• Understanding of Hardware Security Module (HSM) architecture and its role in key management and secure storage.
• Firmware bring-up and debugging across boot sequences and hardware initialization flows.
• Strong foundation in DFT and ATE test methodologies and end-to-end test program development.
• Proven ATE test class/method development; preference for Advantest 93K.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Perl, or C++.

Responsibilities

• Develop characterization and test coverage strategies during pre-silicon phase.
• Establish pattern requirements and drive Design Verification deliveries in pre-silicon phase.
• Execute defined characterization and test plans on new silicon.
• Design wafer and package-level Fuse modules for test programs.
• Lead silicon bring-up and post-silicon ownership including validation of test programs.
• Perform new device characterization, analysis, and root-cause investigations.
• Interface with global teams to resolve device failures.
• Foster new ideas in device test/DFT/DFM and translate to deliverables.
• Optimize test contents to meet/exceed business goals and margins from Fab to Back-end-Test.
