Job summary

United Overseas Bank Ltd in Singapore seeks a proactive candidate to support GTO financial, headcount and hiring planning, delivering accurate planning, reporting and process improvements.

You will partner with Finance, HR and business stakeholders to provide insights, facilitate decision-making, and enhance productivity through data-driven management practices. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration and rigorous reporting to drive performance.

Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end GTO financial, headcount, and hiring planning cycles in collaboration with Finance and HR partners.
• Prepare HC and Financial Reports to support the management of headcount tracking and recruitment status reporting processes
• Support the Performance Management team in the preparation, reporting and monitoring of GTO financials
• Support the annual SWP (Strategic Workforce Planning) budgeting exercise
• Support the preparation of cost reporting, forecasting, and actuals tracking across permanent and temporary workforce
• Engage GTO budget managers and HR partners on headcount and SWP related queries
• Ensure timely, accurate, and well-documented submission of cost, headcount, hiring data, assumptions, and forecasts.
• Consolidate and validate planning inputs to support management reviews and approval processes.
• Monitor planning outcomes and provide variance analysis against budgets, forecasts, and targets.
• Produce regular management reporting on GTO costs, headcount, hiring activities, and operational performance metrics.
• Analyze trends, variances, risks, and performance drivers to provide actionable insights.
• Highlight key cost pressures, workforce changes, hiring challenges, and operational issues requiring management attention.
• Support governance, performance reviews, and management decision-making through accurate and reliable reporting.
• Lead the Clearing House process through effective management of the Clearing House cadence, providing timely and accurate visibility of budget utilisation across all divisions.
• Analyse hiring requests and associated spend, run-rate projections to assess budget availability and support informed decision-making.
• Partner closely with HR and business stakeholders to ensure hiring requests are aligned with approved budgets, workforce plans, and organisational priorities.
• Through regular tracking and reporting, enable transparency, accountability, and efficient utilisation of hiring budgets across the organisation.
