Job summary

United Overseas Bank Ltd in Singapore is seeking a senior finance professional to lead the Central Treasury Unit's business finance functions, including P&L oversight and hedge accounting governance. The role requires a deep understanding of treasury controls and strategic financial insight.

You will partner with risk, product control, and operations to drive budgeting, forecasting, governance, and strategic initiatives, ensuring strong internal controls and high-quality financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of experience in banking or financial services.
• Strong exposure to Treasury, Product Control and Hedge Accounting.
• Solid understanding of bank balance sheets and liquidity risk.
• Proficient in SAP, Excel and PowerPoint; data analytics mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead production, monitoring, and analysis of CTU P&L and financial reporting.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance explanation for CTU Business Finance.
• Coordinate hedge accounting governance and advisory across jurisdictions.
• Support Internal Audit and External Auditors; strengthen controls and governance.
• Drive strategic projects to improve efficiency and reporting quality.
