Job summary

Helius Technologies Pte Ltd is seeking an Associate Systems Engineer (Service Management) to manage production change control, assess deployment risks, and ensure seamless system updates for critical infrastructure. The role is a 12-month renewable contract with immediate engagement in enterprise-scale operations.

The candidate should have 8–10 years in IT, 3–5 years in IT Operations/ITSM, and strong ITIL/CAB experience to drive governance, risk mitigation, and process alignment across teams.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead Change Governance: drive CAB meetings and final production approvals.
• Mitigate System Risks: work with PMs, Security, and Production Support to prevent downtime.
• Process Alignment: implement ITIL-standard change management processes and SOPs.
• Stakeholder Reporting: communicate downtime notices and track ITSM metrics and SLAs.

About the Role

As an Associate Systems Engineer (Service Management), you will manage production change control, assess deployment risks, and ensure seamless system updates for critical infrastructure.

This is a 12-month renewable contract position offering immediate engagement in large-scale enterprise operations, with possibilities for extension or long-term growth based on performance and project needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Change Governance: Drive Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings, evaluate change requests, and manage final production approvals.
• Mitigate System Risks: Work alongside internal teams (Project Managers, Security, Production Support) to prevent adverse impacts and service downtime.
• Process Alignment: Implement and streamline ITIL-standard change management processes, SOPs, and portal maintenance.
• Stakeholder Reporting: Send downtime/completion broadcast notices and track key ITSM performance metrics and SLAs.

What We Are Looking For

• Education: Degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT, or a related field.
• Experience: 8–10 years in IT, with 3–5 years focused on IT Operations and ITSM (Change, Incident, or Problem Management).
• Framework Expertise: Strong practical knowledge of ITIL standards and running CAB processes.
• Key Skills: Excellent stakeholder management, risk evaluation capabilities, and professional written communication.
• Domain Advantage: Prior exposure to healthcare IT systems or large-scale public sector tech is a plus.
