Job summary

Advario Singapore is seeking an Associate Manager, Sales to join its Commercial Team on Jurong Island. You will support the Commercial Manager in growing relationships with existing customers, identify opportunities for service expansion and value creation, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive engagement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in commercial, sales, business development, account management, or related roles within the chemical, petrochemical, tank storage, terminals, logistics, or energy industries.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• Strong commercial and customer relationship management skills.
• Good project coordination and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Commercial Manager in managing and growing relationships with existing customers.
• Develop a strong understanding of customer business requirements and identify opportunities for service expansion and value creation.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through responsive and solution-oriented engagement.
• Develop and recommend contract renewals and retention initiatives to maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Act as a key point of contact for assigned customer accounts.
• Identify, qualify, and support the pursuit of new business opportunities within the chemicals, petrochemical, specialty chemicals, and related sectors.
• Develop and recommend commercial proposals, including pricing, contract structure, escalation mechanisms and ancillary charges.
• Participate in customer meetings, commercial discussions, and contract negotiations.
• Coordinate the implementation of new customer opportunities and product onboarding activities.
• Monitor market trends, industry developments, customer requirements, and competitor activities within the chemical and petrochemical sectors.
