Jurong Port Universal Terminal Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Commercial Analyst, Assistant Manager to optimise revenue and operations through rigorous analysis and pricing strategy support.

You will conduct market research, build financial models for investments, and prepare executive reports for decision-makers in a dynamic energy environment. Ideal candidates hold a degree in business-related fields and have 5+ years in business analysis or strategy within petrochemical/oil & gas or energy sectors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in business analysis and/or strategy.
• Experience in petrochemical, oil & gas, shipping or energy industry preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to build financial models.

Responsibilities

• Optimise revenue and operations analysis to advise on pricing strategies and support negotiations.
• Conduct market analysis across sectors (oil & gas, renewables, storage terminals) and translate into recommendations.
• Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate investments.
• Prepare management reporting for commercial performance and investment papers.

Commercial Analyst, Assistant Manager reporting to Head, Commercial & Business Development. The role focuses on optimising commercial operations through revenue and operations analysis to advise on pricing strategies and support commercial negotiations.

Key responsibilities

• Optimise commercial operations through revenue and operations analysis to advise on pricing strategies and support commercial negotiations
• Conduct market analysis across related sectors (e.g. oil and gas, renewables, storage terminals, etc), and translate market insights into actionable recommendations
• Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate investment opportunities
• Prepare management reporting for commercial performance, customers' performance reports, investment papers, marketing materials and presentations
• Contribute to marketing and business development initiatives, including ad-hoc projects as assigned

What we're looking for

• Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline is strongly preferred
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business analysis and/or strategy ideally within the petrochemical, oil & gas, shipping or broader energy industry.
• Exposure to oil & gas commercial operations or energy markets is a significant advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with proven ability to interpret complex data, conduct market research, and develop financial models.

• High proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and strong overall computer literacy.
