Job summary

Singapore Airlines invites applications for a role within the material management department of the SIA Engineering Division. The incumbent will support the freight, tender and facilities administrative functions, contributing to efficient contract management and space utilisation.

The ideal candidate holds a diploma, is proficient in MS Office, can engage with vendors and engineers on the shop floor, communicates well, and works effectively under pressure both independently and as a team player.

Qualifications

• Diploma in any discipline is required.
• Proficient in MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Maintain filing for Material Management contracts and agreements.
• Maintain and monitor lease agreements and floor plans of warehouse space on lease by SIA.
• Conduct verification of space leased by SIA required by SIA Properties for audit requirements on a yearly basis.
• Maintain record and update asset listing.
• Monitor the performance and coordinate with maintenance contractors for ASRS maintenance, servicing, and repair in the Warehouse.
• Compile and verify reports from Freight Forwarders against AWB and shipping documents for GST reporting.
• Verify freight invoices.
• Support Tender and RFP process and contract administration for Engineering Division and other divisions as required.

The successful candidate will join the material management department in SIA Engineering Division. He/she will support the freight, tender and facilities administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain filing for Material Management contracts and agreements.
• Maintain and monitor lease agreement and floor plans of warehouse space on lease by SIA.
• Conduct verification of space leased by SIA required by SIA Properties for audit requirements on a yearly basis.
• Maintain record and update asset listing.
• Monitor the performance and coordinate with the respective maintenance contractors for maintenance, servicing, and repair of Automated Storage‑Retrieval System (ASRS) in the Warehouse.
• Compile and verify reports from Freight Forwarders against AWB and shipping documents for monthly submission to Taxation for GST reporting.
• Verify freight invoices.
• Support Tender and RFP process and contract administration for Engineering Division and any other division as required.

Requirements

• Possess a diploma in any discipline.
• Proficient in MS Office suite of products.
• Able to engage with vendors and line engineers on the shop floor directly.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
