Job summary

Singapore Airlines Limited seeks a dedicated professional to join the Fleet Support Department, Flight Operations Division, providing hands-on technical support for the SIA fleets.

The role includes keeping critical manuals up to date with XML tools, supporting performance and engineering studies, and coordinating with multiple departments to align engineering and flight operations needs. A Bachelor's degree in engineering and a minimum of two years' experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Team player with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide operation-related and engineering-related technical support in the day-to-day running of the SIA fleets.
• Keep operations manuals such as Flight Crew Operations Manuals, Minimum Equipment Lists, etc. for the various SIA fleets up to date using XML tools
• Assist fleet technical support executives in airplane performance, airport and engineering studies
• Liaise with various departments on operational and engineering matters pertaining to flight operations
• Bridge the gap between Engineering and Flight Crew's concerns/interests
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager Fleet Technical Support.

Job description

The successful candidate will be part of SIA'sFleet Support Department, Flight Operations Division. He/Shye will be responsible for providing technical support for the SIA fleets.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide operation-related and engineering-related technical support in the day-to-day running of the SIA fleets


• Keep operations manuals such as Flight Crew Operations Manuals, Minimum Equipment Lists, etc. for the various SIA fleets up to date using Extensible Mark-up Language (XML) tools


• Assist fleet technical support executives in airplane performance, airport and engineering studies


• Liaise with various departments on operational and engineering matters pertaining to flight operations


• Bridging the gap between Engineering and Flight Crew's concerns/interests


• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager Fleet Technical Support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Aeronautical, Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering


• Minimum 2 years of working experience preferably but not essential


• Proficient in MS Office


• Team player
