Job summary

5G-Starlink Pte. in Singapore is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead the Materials team across planning, procurement, shipping and inventory.

The role focuses on optimizing procurement, logistics, and warehousing to reduce costs and improve service. You will manage vendor relationships, ensure regulatory compliance for aviation materials, and drive cost reductions through forecasting and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Experience with MRP/inventory control systems and logistics management.
• Familiar with shipping/freight forwarding documentation and procedures.
• Knowledge of aviation industry materials is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the Materials team in planning, procurement, shipping and inventory control.
• Plan procurement, production, inventory control, logistics and distribution to avoid delays and lost sales opportunities.
• Optimize procurement, supply development, inventory control, logistics and warehousing for lower material costs and shorter lead times.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure company needs are communicated to procurement, development, manufacturing, logistics and distribution teams.
• Maintain stock and tooling registers and ensure traceability of material purchases and requisitions.

We are recruiting a Supply Chain Manager for our world-leading Aerospace client. This is a full-time permanent position based in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the Materials team in the areas of Planning, procurement, shipping and inventory store.
• Planningof procurement, production, inventory control, logistics anddistribution. The manager ensures that every step of the process isfunctioning effectively to avoid costly delays and lost salesopportunities.
• Manage and formulate the operational flow ofprocurement, supply development, inventory control, logistics andWarehousing in order to ensure supply effectiveness and to achieve lowercost of materials, shorter lead-time and optimizing overall inventory.
• Managerelationships between many different vendors. Must communicate thecompany's needs and objectives to line managers and key personnel inprocurement, development/manufacturing, logistics and distribution.
• Identify,control, segregate and maintain all stock and tools to a serviceable orunserviceable category as designated by the Business Support Director.
• Responsiblefor preservation of all articles or parts, while carried in inventory,including parts that are subject to deterioration and shelf-lifespecifications.
• Effectively manage internal and external spareresources through timely supply of materials and proper allocation ofresources that is in line with operational objectives.
• Manage a proper system to ensure that materials and inventory complies with aviation regulatory requirements.
• Responsiblefor maintaining all registers on material purchases, requisitions,purchase orders and batching to ensure traceability on approved sourcesfor material purchased.
• Maintain a competitive inventory level by minimizing obsolescence through accurate forecasting and strategic planning.
• Continuously identify and implement systematic processes and system improvements while also improving cost reduction.
• Workwith cross region cooperation with respect to strategic Purchasingprograms, as well a standardization of procedures and policy governanceof the organization.
• Coordinate with Operations planning andreporting activities to achieve and improve key business performanceindicators for Operations.
• Review and implement processes and procedures to streamline & improve productivity.
• To ensure effective reporting of material and inventory status.
• Familiarwith the best shipping practices, routes for tracking global shippingexpenses while achieving optimal service for the best cost.
• To ensure KPIs are in place for the department.
• Conduct RISK analysis, Lean, and 5S initiatives.
• ImplementHSE prevention programs within your activities, ensuring your teammembers remain informed and play an active role in contributing to HSEdevelopment, and seeing that all actions taken help to achieveimprovement objectives.
• Manage the entire premises/facilities to ensure all equipment is in good working condition.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Any additional knowledge of materials and sourced used in aviation industry would be ideal.
• Experienced with MRP/Inventory Control Systems and Logistics Managements.
• Familiar with shipping/freight forwarding documentation and procedures.
