Job summary

Secretlab, headquartered in Singapore, seeks a Quality Engineer for our Global Manufacturing and Operations team to uphold high quality across products for customers worldwide. You’ll work with design, production, and supplier partners to ensure quality from development to aftersales.

This role requires strong analytical skills, root cause analysis, and collaborative problem solving with cross‑functional teams. Occasional travel for supplier assessments is expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Quality Engineering or related field; external QC certification is a plus.
  • Fresh graduates welcome; internship or final-year project in Supplier Quality Management or manufacturing is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and BIFMA; prior Internal Quality Auditor experience is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of quality concepts, methodologies and the cost of quality.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently with good prioritization and organization.
  • Willingness to travel for supplier assessments and audits.

Responsibilities

  • Own the quality of Secretlab products from development through production and aftersales.
  • Perform root cause analysis on product/process issues and drive lasting resolutions.
  • Regularly monitor and report quality KPIs; analyse data for trends and improvements.
  • Lead improvement initiatives to raise quality standards for products, processes, and suppliers.
  • Maintain the quality management system with inspections, testing and supplier audits.
  • Support risk assessments and help develop risk management plans from early stages.
  • Collaborate with Industrial Designers, Mechanical Engineers and Sourcing to implement CAPA.
  • Ensure quality tests and audits are performed with on-site SQEs; address market feedback promptly.
  • Deliver training on quality control procedures and standards; ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Undertake special projects or assignments as required.

As a Quality Engineer in our Global Manufacturing and Operations team, you’ll be developing award-winning products for consumers worldwide, ensuring that they are designed, produced, and delivered at the best quality standard. This highly challenging yet rewarding role requires strong management skills and meticulous monitoring of our product & process quality to provide our customers with the best experience.

Our Global Manufacturing and Operations team is involved with all Secretlab’s industry-leading designs, including collaborative efforts with world-renowned brands such as Game of Thrones, Batman, Cloud9, Team Secret, as well as international esports organisers such as Riot Games for their League of Legends global tournaments.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the quality of Secretlab’s products and manage Product Life Cycle from development through to production and aftersales.
  • Perform root cause analysis on issues pertaining to products and/or processes, collaborating with the relevant teams to troubleshoot and provide resolutions while preventing repeated failures.
  • Regularly monitor and report on quality KPIs, analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improving our quality control processes.
  • Implement and lead improvement initiatives which enhance the quality standards of our product, processes, and suppliers.
  • Maintain Secretlab’s quality management system, including regular inspections, testing, and auditing of suppliers.
  • Support risk assessments and help develop risk management plans to prevent and mitigate quality issues from early stages through to end-of-life.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders such as our Industrial Designers, Mechanical Engineers, and Sourcing teams to develop and implement corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Ensure that our quality standards are adhered too, collaborating with on-site SQEs to ensure the necessary tests and audits are performed.
  • Provide support and solutions to the Customer Service team on market feedback in a timely and effective manner, incorporating these feedback to build and improve quality in product development.
  • Assist in developing and delivering training on quality control procedures and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Undertake special projects or assignments as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineer, Quality Engineering, or a relevant course of studies. External qualification as a certified quality engineer would be an added advantage.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome; internship, final-year project, or coursework exposure to Supplier Quality Management or manufacturing processes is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of and ability to interpret ISO 9001 and BIFMA standards, and prior experience as Internal Quality Auditor is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of quality concepts, methodologies and tools and awareness of the impact of the failure/ cost of quality.
  • Knowledge of, and hands-on experience with developing reliable problem-solving approaches.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with good skill in organizing tasks based on priority.
  • Strong communication skills with business proficiency in English and Mandarin (verbal & written, for liaising with Mandarin speaking vendors).
  • Strong sense of initiative, taking pride and ownership of work tasks.
  • Availability to travel as needed to perform supplier assessments/audits.
  • Passion for the e-sports/ gaming industry
  • Professional experience/ knowledge pertaining to manufacturing of furniture/ office furniture
