Job summary

ASIA PACIFIC EXCHANGE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Finance/Accounting professional to support the Finance Department. The role covers daily accounting operations, master data maintenance, invoicing, vendor payments, and staff reimbursements.

You will participate in month-end closing, prepayments, audits, and regulatory reporting. A degree in accounting or finance is required, with strong Excel skills and knowledge of financial principles; CPA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily activities like risk-based capital computation and daily segregation monitoring.
• Manage daily finance operations including master data in accounting system and invoicing/vendor payments.
• Perform month-end close with timely general entries and reconciliations.
• Manage prepayment and recurring payment schedules.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Prepare GST, withholding tax, corporate income tax and FATCA/CRS submissions.

Job description

The candidate will support the Finance Department.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handle daily activities such as risk based capital computation and daily segregation monitoring etc.
• Handle daily finance operations of general accounting functions including maintenance of master data in accounting system, preparing of customer invoices, processing of vendor invoices and staff reimbursement claims
• Performed month-end closing process by ensuring general entries are timely entered and reconciliations are performed
• Managed prepayment schedules and recurring payment schedules
• Coordinate internal and external audits
• Preparation of all tax submissions such as GST, withholding tax, corporate income tax, and FATCA/CRS submissions etc.
• Preparation of regulatory reports
• Preparation of management reports
• Assist in other ad-hoc duties

Requirements:

• At least a Degree in Accountancy or Finance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, positive team player
• Some proficiency in Mandarin is advantageous to liaising with Chinese counterparties
• Possess professional accounting qualifications (CPA) is a plus
