Job summary

Murata Machinery Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking an entry-level professional to join the Clean Factory Automation team. The role focuses on installing, testing, and maintaining automated material handling systems (AMHS) in a cleanroom environment.

You will work under project site supervision, coordinating with customers and subcontractors to ensure on-time delivery and quality, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• ITE Diploma in an engineering-related discipline (minimum).
• Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment.
• Teamwork, positive attitude, and adaptability to learn new skills.
• Ability to assess work situations and plan tasks to meet project schedules.
• Some experience with AMHS equipment is a significant advantage.
• Entry-level candidates are welcome; on-the-job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and calibrate AMHS equipment during the initial project phase to ensure proper system setup.
• Conduct regular inspections, tests, and preventive maintenance to sustain AMHS performance after installation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve AMHS issues promptly to minimize system downtime.
• Coordinate with customers to schedule jobs and provide timely updates on work progress.
• Supervise subcontractors performing installation and mechanical modifications to ensure quality and compliance.

Job Summary

The role will be part of the Clean Factory Automation engineering team primarily responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our cleanroom automated material handling systems (AMHS). The role will report to the project site for most of their working hours.
