Job summary

MCI Consulting Pte Ltd in Jurong East is looking for an Associate Engineer – Electrical & Electronics to join our Product Services team. You will support electrical safety and performance testing to ensure products comply with international and national standards before they are launched to the market.

The role requires a Higher Nitec or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics Engineering, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and familiarity with IEC 62368-1.

Qualifications

• Higher Nitec or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant technical experience in electrical/electronics.
• Familiarity with IEC 62368-1 and electrical safety testing.
• Knowledge of electrical calculations, including short-circuit calculations, is preferred.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Willing to work overtime when required, with OT payment provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed test and inspection reports.

• Support process improvement initiatives for testing facilities and services.
• Maintain, calibrate and ensure proper upkeep of testing equipment and facilities.
• Assist with technical troubleshooting and other engineering activities as required.

Working Hours: Monday – Thursday: 8:30am – 6:00pm, Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm
