Job summary

MCI CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a results-driven tester to perform and evaluate compliance testing on consumer IT, audiovisual and home appliances.

The role involves preparing detailed test and inspection reports and coordinating with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution. Ideal candidates hold a NITEC or Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, with knowledge of IEC 62368-1 and IEC 60335-1 being a plus.

Qualifications

• NITEC or Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with IT equipment and home appliance evaluation is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; proactive team player.

Responsibilities

• Perform and evaluate tests on IT products, AV devices and home appliances for compliance with safety and performance standards.
• Prepare test and inspection reports.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Undertake process improvement projects on testing facilities and services.
• Maintain and upkeep test facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and evaluate tests on products such as consumer information technology, Audio Visual and Home Appliances products for compliance to various safety and performance international standards
• Prepare test and inspection reports
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure smooth execution of projects
• Undertake process improvement projects on testing facilities and services
• Maintain and upkeep test facilities and equipment

Key Requirements

• Minimum a NITEC / Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or its equivalent
• Candidates with relevant working experience involving IT equipment and home appliance evaluation will be an added advantage.
• Result and service-oriented individual who possesses initiative, good communication and interper-sonal skills
• Proactive team player with the ability to work independently in challenging projects and timelines
• Self-motivated and resourceful with a "can-do" attitude
• Knowledge of IEC standards will be a plus, namely IEC 62368-1 and IEC 60335-1
