Job summary

Lonza Biologics Tuas Pte Ltd is seeking an Associate Engineer for a fully site-based role in Singapore Tuas. The position requires 12-hour rotating day and night shifts to support manufacturing excellence and quality.

You will perform maintenance tasks, operate SAP, and ensure GMP documentation is completed accurately. The role emphasizes safety, collaboration, and hands-on problem solving in a GMP environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering (mechanical) or related field.
• Experience with GMP and manufacturing environments.
• Able to perform shift work and read technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Operate SAP to perform transactions and maintenance tasks.
• Execute routine and repair work orders as directed by supervisor.
• Ensure GMP documentation is completed accurately and on time.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of production equipment and read PID drawings.
• Be available for shift or on-call to support operations.

Job description

This is a fully site‑based role at Singapore Tuas. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

The Associate Engineer will be required to perform 12 hours rotating day and night shift.

What you'll do:

• Performs all work safely in compliance with Lonza in-house rules & regulations and
• mandatory Safety WSH Acts requirements. (e.g Permit to Work, Lock-Out-Tag-Out, etc)
• Operate SAP to perform transactions
• Executes routine and repair work orders as assigned by the Engineer/ Supervisor.
• Ensure all routine maintenance works are duly carried out as per schedule.
• Responsible for ensuring all GMP documentation related to maintenance activities is
• completed accurately and processed to full completion.
• Perform shift or be available on-call when required & to support ongoing operations and respond to maintenance calls/ service breakdown calls in a timely manner
• Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs of production equipment/ systems and ability to read PID drawing, equipment drawing and identifying of components.
• Perform Job Safety Analysis, Risk Assessment, Fall Protection, Working at Height
• Any other duties as assigned by Engineer, Supervisor/ Manager.
