Job summary

STANDARD CHARTERED BANK (SINGAPORE) LIMITED seeks a seasoned Compliance/Legal professional to support the Head of CFCR Advisory, Private Banking & Trust, Singapore. You will provide expert regulatory guidance to ensure high standards of conduct and ethical operation across Private Banking and Trust activities.

The role requires deep knowledge of Singapore’s regulatory landscape, strong risk management skills, and the ability to implement compliant controls within a complex financial services

Qualifications

• Degree holder with 10+ years of compliance/legal experience in the financial services sector.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore’s regulatory environment and applicable laws.
• Experience in managing regulatory relationships and risk management within banking.
• Fast learner with excellent communication, collaboration and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head of CFCR Advisory, Private Banking & Trust in regulatory matters for Singapore.
• Identify, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters for PB & Trust.
• Establish risk-based compliance frameworks under the risk management framework.
• Support regulatory relationships with Singapore regulators and liaison teams.
• Disseminate evolving regulatory changes and advise on implementation and reform.
