Standard Chartered Singapore is seeking a Wealth Retail Banking professional to maximize new business opportunities and deepen relationships with Priority Clients. You will conduct consultative financial analyses, provide market insights on local and international products, and collaborate with branch leadership to meet sales targets.

The role requires 3+ years in wealth retail banking, familiarity with Hong Kong/Greater China markets, and Mandarin/Cantonese language skills.

Formación

• Understanding Wealth Management and Banking fundamentals.
• CMFAS Exams or equivalent
• 3 years of Wealth Retail Banking experience
• Mandarin and/or Cantonese language skills preferred

Responsabilidades

• Conduct consultative financial analysis and profiling sessions with customers.
• Deepen customer relationships through market information updates and trend analysis on financial products.
• Collaborate with team managers to draw up monthly plans achieving sales targets.
• Participate in marketing and promotional activities for customer acquisition.
• Source and call on individual prospects and provide after-sales service.
• Ensure compliance with money-laundering prevention procedures and regulatory standards.
• Organize and conduct sales presentations for groups and organizations.
• Solicit referrals from other parts of the bank.

Maximize new business/acquisition/referral opportunities and deepening existing customer relationships to the specified service standards for the Priority Clients Segment

Key Responsibilities

Implementation and oversight of the below individual responsibilities:

• To conduct a professional, consultative financial analysis and profiling session with customers to meet their financial needs/objectives.
• To foster and deepen customer relationships by providing regular market information updates and trend analysis on local and international financial products.
• In consultation with the PB team manager/ branch manager/ PTL, draw up monthly plans for achieving/exceeding sales targets to meet new business and customer acquisition goals
• To participate in marketing and promotional activities for customer acquisition.
• To source and call on individual prospects
• To provide quality, efficient after-sales services
• To manage anti-attrition and retention of clients
• To organise and conduct sales presentations to groups, clubs, associations, companies and other organisations.
• To solicit referrals from other parts of SCB eg. RMs from C&I, staff, etc.
• To comply with all applicable money laundering prevention procedures and in particular, report any suspicious activity to the Transaction Monitoring Unit.
• To ensure compliance with all regulations and controls as set by the Bank and external regulatory authorities.

Our Ideal Candidate

• Understands the core concepts, principles, processes or procedures of Wealth Management and Banking
• CMFAS Exams
• Experience in Managing Hong Kong and Greater China Market
• Good understanding and command of Mandarin and/or Cantonese as the incumbent will be supporting Chinese market
• 3 years of experience in Wealth Retail Banking.
