Job summary

Tata Communications Limited, based in Singapore, seeks an experienced Telecom Product Manager with a strong track record in international connectivity products to drive roadmap and profitability. The role requires deep exposure to carrier and enterprise connectivity, P&L management, and global network infrastructure.

You will partner with Sales, Engineering and CSO to deliver market-leading solutions and robust go-to-market plans.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Telecom Product Management.
• 5+ years managing international connectivity products.
• Experience with IPL, Ethernet, OTN, DCI, Subsea Capacity or Wavelength Services.
• Experience managing product P&L.
• Exposure to cable systems and global network infrastructure.
• Experience with carrier and enterprise connectivity solutions.

Responsibilities

• Drive preparation of product roadmap (next 1-3 years) to include new product development, feature introduction and new technology.
• Prepare AOP for product portfolio based on forecast outlook, market outlook, customer needs, regulatory changes, competition and financials (revenue targets, EBITDA, Capex/Opex for upgrades).
• Drive annual planning of initiatives to attain targets such as marketing campaigns, new product introduction, cost management and new technology introduction.
• Lead discussions with Sales, Customers, Engineering, Technology & Service Evolution and CSO for feedback on product/service needs and pricing/cost structures.
• Guide team to prepare Market Requirement Document (MRD) to capture market need and forecast demand; share MRD with senior management for Capital Committee approval; liaise with Engineering and CSO for development and rollout; review pricing and cost structures; take corrective actions if required.
• Review status of new service introduction projects and take corrective actions if required.
• Oversee revenue growth, CAPEX alignment and adherence to launch plans; monitor operational metrics.
• Define governance processes and ensure adherence; drive go-to-market plans and campaign effectiveness.
