Job description

As an Associate Director Finance based in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, you will be expected to bring your CA qualification and over 20 years of experience to lead a team of 7-9 members. Your primary responsibilities will include:- Actively participating in the development and implementation of strategic functional goals for the plant.- Supervising and managing all general ledger accounting activities, ensuring accurate maintenance of accounts and monthly reconciliations.- Ensuring proper classification of items and preparation of all reports in compliance with GAAP.- Maintaining SOX compliance and updating documentation as necessary.- Managing Indirect Taxes such as Central Excise, Sales Tax, VAT, and ensuring compliance.- Monitoring and controlling functional costs at the plant, identifying areas for cost-saving opportunities in consultation with the Operations Head.- Implementing cost management systems and techniques to monitor overheads effectively and achieve maximum cost control in operations.- Annually calculating and releasing the Standard Cost of products.- Exercising control over Capex/RCE raised at the Plant and overseeing its capitalization.- Ensuring accurate and timely release of Management Information System (MIS) reports.Your role will be pivotal in driving financial efficiency and compliance within the organization while contributing to the overall strategic goals of the plant.,
