Job summary

AstraZeneca Singapore Pte Ltd is building its first biologics campus in Singapore, anchoring end-to-end ADC manufacturing from small molecules to fill-and-finish. The Associate Director will lead day-to-day GMP manufacturing execution across multiple buildings, ensuring safe, compliant, and on-schedule production with a focus on continuous improvement and readiness for inspections.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Pharmaceutical fields.
Minimum 10 years of pharma/biopharma experience with leadership in cGMP manufacturing.
Experience leading day-to-day manufacturing operations and teams in a regulated environment.
Experience in facility start-up, major equipment introduction, process validation or tech transfer.
Experience with GMP documentation and operational risk management.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end GMP manufacturing execution across shifts.
Drive safety, quality, delivery and cost performance with data-driven decisions.
Coordinate cross-functional teams (QA, QC, Engineering, Validation, Safety, Supply Chain).
Represent Manufacturing in tech transfer, process changes and new product introductions.
Drive Lean, digital and AI-enabled improvements in a compliant GMP environment.
