Job summary

Montfort Care in Singapore is seeking an Associate Counsellor to facilitate change and improve lives through casework and counselling for individuals, families, and community-facing initiatives. The role includes programme development, implementation, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality mental health services.

You will contribute to community mental health initiatives, provide referrals, and prepare reports while engaging with healthcare providers.

Qualifications

Master in Counselling from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

Conduct casework management, including gathering information and psycho-social assessment.
Provide case work and counselling to persons with mental health conditions and their caregivers.
Provide information and referral services to link clients to appropriate social services.
Prepare social reports and case notes.
Review casework interventions for improvements.
Conduct closure of cases upon achieving desired outcomes for clients and families.
Build partnerships with healthcare providers and community agencies.
Plan, organise and implement community outreach events and stakeholder engagements.
Maintain professional relationships with clients, caregivers and partners.
