Job summary

UL INTERNATIONAL-SINGAPORE PRIVATE LIMITED seeks a CFD/thermal specialist to apply fundamental fluid dynamics and heat transfer to electronics cooling challenges. You will develop simulations addressing real-world thermal issues for internal projects and customer engineering support.

Working with senior experts, you will own model development, run simulations, interpret results, and document assumptions and methods for clear data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of CFD and thermal-fluid simulations experience.
• Strong fundamentals in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and thermodynamics.
• Hands-on CFD model setup, solution execution, and result interpretation.
• Familiarity with multiple commercial tools (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute CFD and thermal simulations for electronics cooling.
• Support thermal analysis for components, boards, enclosures, and subsystems.
• Assist rapid model setup and simulation turnaround for internal requests.
• Apply boundary conditions, material properties, and solver settings.
• Support steady-state and transient analyses including power ramps.
• Post-process results to identify risks and design improvements.
• Correlate simulations with experimental data or field observations.
• Prepare technical summaries and documentation of methods and results.
• Support V&V activities per defined modeling processes.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to align with UL safety expectations.
