Job summary

Synopsys Singapore seeks a seasoned CFD specialist to diagnose complex engineering challenges and deliver simulation-based solutions using Ansys tools. You will engage customers, collaborate with sales on technical campaigns, and drive professional services across multiple disciplines.

You will teach CFD workflows, solicit actionable product feedback, and mentor peers while expanding the reach of simulation capabilities across automotive, aerospace, energy, and electronics sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience for Bachelor's, 3+ years for Master's, or 1+ year for Ph.D.
• Expert-level knowledge of fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and thermodynamics.
• Demonstrated experience using Ansys software or other commercial CAE tools to solve industry-level simulation challenges.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to facilitate webinars, deliver presentations, and write technical documentation.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to customer sites, training events, and internal meetings.
• Valid Singapore work permit.
• Experience with Ansys tools such as Fluent, CFX, Discovery, optiSLang, or Rocky is a strong plus, as is familiarity with CAD tools and meshing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose complex engineering challenges with customers and deliver CFD-based solutions using Ansys tools.
• Support sales campaigns with demonstrations and present to executive-level audiences on how simulation solves business problems.
• Scope, plan, and deliver professional services engagements across disciplines and geographies.
• Teach introductory, intermediate, and advanced training classes on CFD workflows and meshing techniques.
• Gather customer requirements and translate them into actionable product feedback for Ansys development teams.
• Own customer relationships for selected accounts and understand their design workflows and long-term simulation needs.
• Mentor team members and contribute to internal knowledge bases and cross-discipline initiatives.
