Job summary

DBS Bank Ltd in Singapore is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to collaborate with stakeholders, capture and translate requirements into BRD/FRS, and help define user stories and process flows.

You will bridge business and tech teams, support solution design with architects and QA, participate in Agile ceremonies, and contribute to UAT planning and release documentation. A degree in business/IT and 3–4 years' experience are required.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in business, IT, engineering, or related field.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments.
• Domain knowledge (Banking/Finance) is a plus.
• Strong requirement elicitation and documentation skills.
• Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to write clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Jira/Confluence, MS Excel, PowerPoint.
• Basic understanding of APIs, databases, and system integrations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements
• Conduct stakeholder discussions to understand business processes and pain points
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows
• Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring clarity and alignment
• Support solution design by working closely with architects, developers, and QA teams
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, etc.)
• Create and maintain: BRD, FRS, User Stories and Acceptance Criteria
• Process maps (As-Is and To-Be)
• Assist in UAT planning, execution, and defect tracking
• Ensure solutions meet business needs and deliver measurable value
• Support change management and release activities , including documentation and communication
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization
