Job summary

Keppel (Fund Management & Investment) is seeking a seasoned investment professional to manage end-to-end processes for data centre assets across Asia Pacific and Europe. You will originate opportunities, structure deals, perform financial modelling and present analyses to key stakeholders.

The role requires 5–7 years in investment management, strong due diligence, and excellent communication and writing abilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Real Estate Management or equivalent.
• Experience in investment management/private equity/funds management/investment banking is essential.
• 5–7 years of relevant investment due diligence experience.
• Data centre knowledge is a plus.
• Strong report writing, financial modelling and presentation skills.
• Independent and able to work under tight deadlines; team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial modelling to assess acquisitions and present findings to stakeholders.

Job Description

This is a key role that manages the end-to-end investment process. The key areas of responsibilities include originating potential deals, structuring and executing deals, contributing to the delivery of maximizing risk-adjusted investment returns for the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and analyse investment opportunities
• Responsible for the structuring and executing of the acquisition of data centre assets in Asia Pacific and Europe
• Conduct financial modelling to assess / support acquisitions; Present financial analysis to key stakeholders
• Conduct and coordinate legal, tax, technical & financial due diligence for assets to be acquired, working with advisers/ consultants
• Preparation of investment papers, presentations and other materials, as required
• Review legal documents
• Prepare regular sector research to keep apprised of updated trends and market news/information including the review and analysis of financial, market information and analyst reports from sources including Tier One Research, Bloomberg, Data Center Dynamics etc.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Business, Real Estate Management or equivalent from a good university
• Experience in investment management /private equity/funds management/investment banking is essential
• At least 5 - 7 years of relevant experience, including conducting investment / financial / commercial due diligence
• Data centre technical knowledge and experiences will be an added advantage
• Good report writing, verbal, financial modelling and presentation skills
• Independent and able to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
