Job summary

Great Eastern in Singapore seeks a Distribution Support professional to drive digital strategies for sales channels and streamline processes across project management and system implementations. You will steer end-to-end deliverables, engage with distribution partners, and manage UAT for key initiatives within set timelines.

Responsibilities

• Support management’s decision in project sponsorship by establishing clear business needs against IT deliverables.

• Lead in system enablement projects and act as UAT manager for initiatives within timelines.
• Update, prioritize, and implement digital platforms that drive distribution productivity.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely rollout of projects and strategies.
• Consider and mitigate business and regulatory compliance risks.

Job description

To drive key digital strategies for our sales channels and find solutions to processes in supporting business, project & system management. Our objective is to increase business efficiencies to achieve overall channel's top and bottom-line numbers.

• Support management’s decision in project sponsorship by establishing clear business needs against what can be delivered by IT and our Platform/Product Owner
• Active engagement with our distribution partners to develop key strategies and understanding of their business requirements
• Lead in system enablement projects and undertake the role of UAT manager for those projects. Being accountable for the end-to-end deliverables of the initiatives/enhancements to be implemented within the committed timeline
• Responsible for updating, prioritizing, and implementing digital platforms that drive distribution productivity
• Actively collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that project and strategies are rolled out in a clear, prompt and timely manner. He/she should be clear of the project status and report accordingly to the senior management team.
• Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks

• Preferred to have project management, system implementation project and User Acceptance Testing experience on large or e-commerce projects

• High proficiency in project tools, e.g. MS Office, JIRA, HPQC and Confluence
