Job summary

You will assist the Manager with staff scheduling, supervision, training, and handling VIP guests, while maintaining cleanliness, stock levels, and efficient teamwork.

This role requires hands-on operations during busy periods and a commitment to delivering a pleasant guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Manager / Supervisor in the daily operation of the lounge and ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare staff schedules, arrange shifts and ensure sufficient manpower for daily operations.
• Guide and monitor staff to ensure adherence to procedures and service standards.
• Teach and coach staff on service skills, customer handling, cleanliness, and work procedures.
• Attend to VIP guests and provide friendly, professional service.
• Check stock levels and order food, beverages, cleaning supplies, and other items.
• Perform hands-on duties during staff shortages, including cleaning and replenishment tasks.
• Monitor service quality and address guest feedback; report serious issues to Supervisor/Manager.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of lounge, kitchen, shower rooms, nap rooms, and common areas.
• Collaborate with all staff and departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and ensure all tasks are completed properly.
• Perform any other duties as assigned to support lounge operations.

Assistant Supervisor - Duties & Responsibilities

1. Assist Manager / Supervisor
   Support the Supervisor and Manager in the daily operation of the lounge and ensure smooth operations.
2. Staff Scheduling
   Assist in preparing staff schedules, arranging shifts and ensuring sufficient manpower for daily operations.
3. Staff Supervision
   Guide and monitor staff to ensure they follow company procedures, service standards, and work responsibilities.
4. Staff Training & Coaching
   Teach and coach staff on proper service skills, customer handling, cleanliness, and work procedures. Provide guidance to improve their performance.
5. VIP Guest Service
   Attend to VIP guests and provide friendly, professional, and efficient service. Ensure their needs and requests are properly handled.
6. Stock Ordering & Inventory
   Assist with checking stock levels and ordering food, beverages, cleaning supplies, and other necessary items. Ensure sufficient stock is available for daily operations.
7. Hands-On Operations
   When manpower is short, be prepared to perform the duties including washing shower room, clearing tables, nap room, restocking, and other operational duties as required.
8. Service Quality
   Monitor the quality of service and ensure guests receive a pleasant and satisfactory experience. Address simple guest feedback or complaints and report serious matters to the Supervisor or Manager.
9. Cleanliness & Hygiene
   Ensure the lounge, kitchen, shower rooms, nap rooms, and other common areas are clean, tidy, and maintained according to hygiene standards.
10. Teamwork & Communication
    Work closely with all staff and departments to ensure smooth daily operations and good teamwork.
11. Daily Operations Support
    Assist with opening and closing duties, checking equipment and supplies, and ensuring all operational tasks are completed properly.
12. Additional Duties
    Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Manager to support the smooth operation of the lounge.
