FUCHI PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Site Engineer to join our project team and support ERSS/TERS and civil works on LTA projects.

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; this is a hands-on site role with opportunities to gain practical experience in construction, temporary works, site coordination, and project execution. In this role you will assist with reviewing drawings, coordinating workers and subcontractors, maintaining site records, and ensuring safety and quality on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor9s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Candidates with site or construction experience have an advantage.
• Interest in civil, ERSS/TERS, or temporary works.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a hands-on project environment.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• AutoCAD / BIM knowledge is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating daily site activities and construction works.

Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive Assistant Site Engineer to join our project team and support the execution of ERSS / TERS and civil engineering works which mainly involved in LTA Projects. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. This is a hands‑on site role with opportunities to gain practical experience in construction, temporary works, site coordination, and project execution. Candidates with relevant site experience will also be considered for a more senior position.

Key Responsibilities

Site & Project Coordination

• Assist in coordinating daily site activities and construction works
• Monitor work progress and ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications
• Assist in coordinating workers, subcontractors, and site supervisors
• Support site planning, resource coordination, and work sequencing
• Assist in ensuring timely completion of site activities

Technical Support

• Assist in reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and method statements
• Support site measurements, quantity take-offs, and material coordination
• Assist with the execution of ERSS/TERS and temporary works, including excavation, strutting, and support systems
• Assist in identifying and resolving technical issues on site

Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Attend site meetings and assist with technical discussions
• Follow up on site issues and ensure proper communication between relevant parties

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain site records, daily reports, inspection records, and relevant documentation
• Assist in ensuring works comply with approved MOS, RA, SWP, and project requirements
• Support WSH and site safety requirements

Quality & Safety

• Assist with site inspections and QA/QC activities
• Ensure workmanship meets project specifications and quality requirements
• Assist with ITP and inspection documentation
• Report defects, non-conformance issues, and site safety concerns
• Maintain good housekeeping and safe working practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
