Job summary

Munters PTE LTD is seeking a highly engaged service technician to support site visits, repairs, and maintenance of commercial/industrial dehumidification equipment. You will travel to customer sites, diagnose malfunctions, train customers on standard Munters equipment, and provide detailed service reports.

The role requires NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering and at least 2 years in HVAC maintenance, with ability to read manuals and schematics.

Qualifications

• NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC equipment maintenance and repair.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Travel to customer sites to perform repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance of commercial and industrial dehumidification equipment.
• Diagnose and correct malfunctions on all equipment, ensuring efficient and reliable operation.
• Provide training to customers on standard Munters equipment, helping them understand basic operations and maintenance procedures.
• Submit detailed field service reports, providing technical feedback on equipment performance and service activities.
• Communicate professionally with customers in a service-oriented manner, both in person and through writing and phone calls.
• Promote sales and service of Munters equipment during customer interactions, identifying potential opportunities for upgrades and additional services.

Required competencies and certifications

NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC equipment maintenance and repair

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

Expected to support emergency service calls and onsite visits outside normal working hours when required.

Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence would be an added advantage.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Knowledge of BMS System and HVAC Control systems
