Job summary

Johnson Controls (S) PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Senior Service Technician to ensure efficient operation, maintenance, and servicing of HVAC systems for clients. You will perform servicing, overhaul, testing, and commissioning, delivering high-quality service and solutions at the point of service.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, communicating with clients, maintaining records, and upholding safety standards while contributing to service improvements and upsell opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1 year working experience in HVAC maintenance or related fields.
• Ability to read schematics and write up reports.
• Strong communication skills in the local language (reading, writing, speaking).
• Willing to learn and be a good teammate.
• HVAC knowledge is an added advantage.
• Willingness to standby and provide coverage.
• Valid driving license is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and inspection of HVAC systems to ensure proper functioning and efficiency.
• Overhaul and repair HVAC equipment, identifying and resolving issues or malfunctions.
• Conduct testing and commissioning of newly installed or repaired HVAC systems to verify performance.
• Diagnose problems, troubleshoot issues, and propose solutions to ensure continuous operations.
• Coordinate with team and clients, provide technical support and clear communication.
• Maintain accurate service reports, equipment status, and maintenance schedules.

What you will do:

As Senior Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and servicing of HVAC systems. Your expertise in servicing, maintenance, overhaul, testing, and commissioning will contribute to the optimal performance of our clients' heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Provide our customers with the highest level of service to solve building inefficiencies and resolve service related items. As a trusted advisor to our customers you will provide solutions and outcomes at the time of service.

How you will do it:

• Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and inspection of HVAC systems to ensure proper functioning and efficiency.
• Overhaul and repair HVAC equipment, including identifying and resolving any issues or malfunctions.
• Conduct testing and commissioning of newly installed or repaired HVAC systems to verify their performance.
• Diagnose problems, troubleshoot issues, and recommend appropriate solutions to ensure continuous system operations.
• Collaborate with other team members and communicate effectively with clients to address inquiries and provide technical support.
• Maintain accurate records of service reports, equipment status, and maintenance schedules.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all tasks and assignments.
• Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facility is running efficiently to include upselling opportunities.
• Support proposals to support recommendations and solutions.
• Support the preparation of quotations for recommended solutions.
• Deliver a high level of customer satisfaction through responsive service, clear communication, and operational excellence.

What we look for:

• O Level / A Level / ITE / Diploma in Mechanical and Electrical with 1 years working experience.
• Proven experience in maintenance, repair and troubleshooting within related fields of HVAC (Heat Ventilation Air Conditioning).
• Ability to read schematics and write up report
• Strong communication skills within local language (reading, writing, and conversational)
• Willing to learn new things and is a good teammate.
• Possess knowledge in HVAC will be added advantage
• Willingness to on standby and backup
• Valid driving license required.
