Job summary
Rainbow Centre is seeking an Assistant Senior Life Coach to supervise junior colleagues while delivering structured programmes for adults with disabilities. You will translate plans into daily activities, support assessments, and maintain accurate documentation, working closely with a Senior Life Coach and a multidisciplinary team.
You will engage with families, participate in programme reviews, and ensure safeguarding and service values are upheld. Prior experience in AES settings is valued.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, Social Services, or related fields.
- Certificate in Autism, Diploma in Special Education, or related professional training preferred.
- At least 4 years of relevant professional experience working with persons with disabilities in adult services or related settings.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement structured, client-centred activities aligned with goals.
- Facilitate life skills and social participation programmes for adults with disabilities.
- Develop engagement and inclusion strategies to enhance participation and motivation.
- Support individual care planning and track progress through documentation and observation.
- Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure responsive programming.
- Maintain safeguarding, safety, and hygiene practices during activities.
