Timezone Singapore is seeking a Duty Manager to lead daily venue operations and drive sales, delivering exceptional guest experiences across our entertainment centres. You will manage a large team of full-time and part-time staff, coach on service standards, and monitor KPIs to meet brand objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a large retail environment, in a supervisory role.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
• Proven leadership and people management abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to lead a large team of full-time and part-time staff.
• Proactive problem-solving and initiative.
• Proficient with computer systems and company software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily venue operations, drive sales and profitability.
• Ensure every guest receives excellent service.
• Collaborate with Operations Manager on objectives and KPIs.
• Analyze sales and KPIs and propose action plans.
• Coach staff on service standards and venue presentation.
• Communicate brand promotions and marketing initiatives.
• Manage cash handling and reconcile takings.
• Resolve guest complaints and feedback.
• Maintain staff motivation and guest service focus.
• Provide coaching for continual improvement.
• Monitor stock inventory to reduce shrinkage.
• Prepare weekly duty rosters based on traffic.
• Control turnover and absenteeism.
• Conduct annual performance reviews.
• Log incidents as required.

What do you do?

• Responsible for daily venue operations, achieving venue sales and profitability and ensuring
• every guest receives great service experience
• Work with Operations Manager on venue objectives and KPIs
• Analyse the sales, KPIs and propose action plan on a regular basis
• Coach employees in all aspects of systems and operations including guest service standards and venue presentation.
• Communicate and ensure that the team is aware of all the brand promotions and marketing initiatives
• Be accountable for cost management and reconcile all cashier takings and monies
• Manage and resolve any guest’s complaints/ feedback
• Maintain a high level of motivation and ensure the team is dedicated to offer the best guest service
• Provide constructive feedback and constantly provide coaching to the team for improvement
• Monitor the stock inventory process to minimize shrinkage and accuracy in stock management
• Plan and prepare weekly duty roster according to daily traffic
• Maintain employee turnover and absenteeism
• Conduct annual individual performance review of your team
• Log any incidents required by the business.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a large retail environment, in a supervisory role.
• Good analytical skills with an eye for detail
• Proven leadership skills
• Integrity and a great sense of responsibility.

• Ability to lead and manage a large team of full-timers and part-timers.

• Available to work on weekends and holidays
