Job summary

Stamfles International Pte Ltd is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager in Singapore to support daily operations, ensure quality and service, and lead service staff. You will assist in scheduling, oversee staff performance, and help uphold SOPs and hygiene standards.

The role requires a hands-on, independent, customer-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Qualifications

• At least 2–3 years in F&B/restaurant operations, with minimum 1 year in a supervisory position.
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations and customer service.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to supervise, guide and motivate service staff.
• Customer-oriented with good complaint-handling skills.
• Knowledge of inventory management, cost control and POS operations.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
• Hands-on, responsible and able to work independently.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily restaurant operations alongside the Restaurant Manager.
• Supervise, train and motivate service staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in staff scheduling and daily manpower planning.
• Maintain high customer service standards and handle feedback professionally.
• Ensure food quality, presentation, cleanliness and service standards.
• Implement and maintain SOPs and procedures.
• Monitor daily sales and support outlet sales targets.
• Assist in inventory management, stock ordering and stock control.
• Coordinate with kitchen team for smooth food prep and service.
• Conduct daily staff briefings and share operational updates.
