Job summary

Hong Tai Civil Engineering is seeking support to assist in implementing and maintaining QA/QC procedures on site. You will conduct inspections to ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and quality requirements, and prepare inspection requests and QA/QC documentation.

You will monitor workmanship and materials, coordinate with site teams on inspections, and maintain detailed records of all quality-related activities, inspections, test reports and approvals.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and maintaining QA/QC procedures
• Conduct site inspections to ensure works meet drawings and specifications
• Prepare inspection requests, checklists, method statements and QA/QC docs
• Monitor workmanship and materials and report quality issues
• Coordinate with site supervisors, subcontractors and project teams on inspections and rectifications
• Maintain records of inspections, test reports and material approvals
• Arrange and attend inspections with clients, consultants or relevant parties
• Follow up on defects and ensure rectifications are completed
• Ensure works comply with project requirements, safety standards and company procedures
• Perform other QA/QC and project-related duties as directed by PM/QA/QC Engineer

Job description

Assist in preparing inspection requests, checklists, method statements and QA/QC documentation.

Monitor workmanship and materials used on site and report any quality issues or non-conformance.

Coordinate with site supervisors, subcontractors and project teams on inspection and rectification works.

Maintain proper records of inspections, test reports, material approvals and other quality documents.

Assist in arranging and attending inspections with clients, consultants or relevant parties when required.

Follow up on defects and ensure rectification works are completed properly.

Ensure works comply with relevant project requirements, safety standards and company procedures.

Perform other QA/QC and project-related duties assigned by the Project Manager or QA/QC Engineer.
