Job summary

Staffhub Group is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (M&E) in Singapore. The role involves planning and managing electrical/mechanical projects, coordinating site activities, and ensuring timely resource delivery to meet schedules.

You will assist in contract administration, claims, variations, and dispute resolution while monitoring accounts receivable for projects. The position requires a Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and 2–3 years of relevant experience, with priority

Qualifications

• Must have a Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of project/site management experience in construction.
• Priority given to experience with HDB projects.
• Safety courses required by MOM preferred.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
• Good attitude and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage projects from initiation to completion.
• Coordinate and supervise site works and track progress.
• Ensure timely requisition of labour, materials and equipment.
• Maintain progress against the master schedule and address deviations.
• Liaise with purchasing for item delivery.
• Assist Department Manager with contract administration, claims, variations and disputes.
• Assist in monitoring project accounts receivable.

• Projectplanning and management
• Project co-ordination, supervision and monitoring the progress of site works
• Ensure timely requisition of resources (e.g. labour, materials, equipmentetc.)
• Ensure works progress according to the establish schedule, and maincontractor’s master installation schedule, and where deviations arise, initiatethe appropriate actions.
• Liaise with purchasing section on the delivery of items purchased.
• Assist Department Manager in the administration of contract, claim, variationand any dispute arise
• Assist Department Manager to monitor accounts receivable of project.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 2-3 years working experience in Project/ Site Management (Constructionindustry)
• Priority to experience in HDB project
• Preferably completed relevant SAFETY courses (required by MOM)
• Ability to multi-task and work independently
• Good working attitude, able to work under pressure
