Job summary

Established Construction Company in Singapore is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Director in managing project execution, site coordination and project teams.

Salary up to S$7,500 plus bonus; government-related developments experience is advantageous. Location at Buona Vista with office in Tampines North Drive 4.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management or related discipline.
• 8–10 years' total construction experience, with 3–5 years as an Assistant Project Manager with a main contractor.
• Experience with government projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Director in managing daily project and site operations.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.
• Monitor project progress, schedules, manpower, materials and site activities.
• Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality and safety requirements.
• Prepare project schedules, progress reports and documentation.
• Attend project and coordination meetings and follow up on outstanding matters.
• Coordinate drawings, submissions, materials, inspections and approvals.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and project progress.
• Identify and resolve site issues, delays and coordination matters.
• Work with the QS team on variations, additional works, procurement and cost matters.
• Coordinate with the Safety team to ensure workplace safety compliance.
• Support inspections, testing, handover, defect rectification and project completion.
• Maintain proper project records and documentation.
• Lead and coordinate a project team comprising Engineers, Safety Officer, QS and Drafter.

An established Singapore construction company delivering building and construction projects, including government-related developments. The company is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Director in managing project execution, site coordination and project teams.

Salary: Up to S$7,500 + Bonus
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30AM – 5:30PM
Project Location: Buona Vista
Office: Tampines North Drive 4

• Strong understanding of construction processes, site coordination and technical drawings.

• Able to manage subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and site teams.

• Familiar with Microsoft Office and relevant construction/project management software.

• Knowledge of Singapore construction practices and regulations is an advantage.
