Job summary

VECTOR INFOTECH PTE LTD in Singapore seeks an Assistant Project Engineer to support the project engineering team in coordinating international inbound and outbound shipments for EPC projects and equipment deliveries. The role handles documentation, scheduling and coordination with customers, vendors and freight forwarders.

You will assist across warehousing, inspections and logistics, with travel to warehouses or vendor locations as needed.

Qualifications

Certificate / Diploma in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
Candidates with relevant work experience but different academic qualifications are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and monitor incoming and outgoing international shipments per project requirements.
Prepare and maintain import/export and shipping documentation.
Liaise with freight forwarders, vendors and logistics providers to arrange and track shipments.
Coordinate with engineers and vendors to ensure equipment readiness for shipment.
Arrange and support warehouse inspections prior to collection.
Travel to warehouses and vendor locations for inspections and shipment readiness activities.
Interface professionally with customers during inspections and collection activities.
Follow up on discrepancies and documentation gaps to resolve issues.
Maintain shipment trackers and project documentation.
Monitor shipment status and provide updates to project teams.
