Job summary

PERSOL Outsourcing is hiring a Production Supervisor for a 1-year contract at Rifle Range Army Camp, Singapore. You will lead and mentor a team of production assemblers and test operators, ensuring production targets and safety regulations are met.

The role requires 2-3 years of managing production staff, a Diploma in Engineering/Manufacturing, and proficiency in MS Office and MES. Working hours are Mon-Fri, 7.30am to 5.15pm, with a completion bonus on successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering/Manufacturing preferred.
• 2–3 years managing production staff and processes.
• Ability to train and motivate line employees to achieve production goals.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Experience with MES manufacturing software.

Responsibilities

• Performs system integration and testing according to work instruction or procedure and test plan.
• Performs all duties in a safe manner and keeps all employees aware of dangers in work area.
• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet production targets, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and adherence to production schedules.
• Lead and mentor a team of production assemblers and test operators, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a high level of productivity, quality, and safety.
• Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements to optimize productivity and reduce waste.
• Manage production stores inventory.
• Track and analyze production metrics, such as yield, and cycle time, and take appropriate actions to achieve performance targets.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations, maintaining a safe work environment for all employees.
• Practices good housekeeping at all times in the work area.
