Job summary

Eastern Harvest Foods (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a hands-on Production Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring targets, schedules and delivery requirements are met.

You will monitor output, yield, machine utilisation and wastage to improve efficiency and control costs, coordinating with QA, Warehouse, Purchasing and Logistics for smooth production flow. The role requires strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, SFA and ISO 22000, plus leadership to train staff and drive

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in food manufacturing or meat processing.
• Experience in meat processing and manufacturing of meat products is an advantage.
• Hands-on with strong production management and leadership capabilities.
• Good knowledge of HACCP, GMP, SFA requirements and food safety practices.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Qualifications in Food Science, Food Technology or Manufacturing are preferred.

Job description

1. Production Management & Operations

• Assist the Production Manager in overseeing daily production operations and ensuring production targets, schedules and delivery requirements are met.

• Monitor production output, yield, machine utilisation, wastage and downtime to improve operational efficiency and control costs.

• Coordinate with QA, Warehouse, Purchasing and Logistics to ensure smooth production flow.

• Participate actively in production activities, product trials and the implementation of processing specifications.

2. Quality & Food Safety

• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, SFA regulations, ISO 22000 and company food safety standards.

• Maintain product quality, consistency, hygiene, sanitation and housekeeping standards.

• Support audits, investigate production issues and implement corrective actions.

3. Team & Manpower Management

• Supervise and guide production supervisors, line leaders and operators to achieve production targets.

• Coordinate manpower planning, attendance and shift scheduling.

• Train and develop production staff on SOPs, processing techniques, food safety and workplace safety.

4. Inventory, Cost & Safety Control

• Monitor raw material usage, inventory and production wastage.

• Support cost reduction, process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.

• Ensure accurate production records and compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.

Job Requirements
