Job summary

sg hotels pte. ltd. is seeking a capable Supervisor to manage daily restaurant and bar operations in Singapore. You will lead service staff and bartenders, ensuring smooth, high‑quality guest experiences across dining and bar areas.

The role requires strong leadership, beverage knowledge, and a solid understanding of responsible alcohol service. You will collaborate with kitchen teams, maintain service standards, and train staff for upselling and guest engagement.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role in Food & Beverage, including bar operations.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and bar service standards.
• Understanding of responsible alcohol service and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Food & Beverage Manager in overseeing day-to-day restaurant and bar operations to ensure smooth service.
• Supervise service staff and bartenders to maintain high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
• Conduct daily pre-shift briefings, allocate duties, and ensure adequate manpower deployment based on business levels.
• Assist with staff scheduling, attendance monitoring, and shift arrangements for both floor and bar teams.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to feedback or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Ensure adherence to service standards, SOPs, hygiene, safety, and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams for timely and seamless service throughout the outlet.
• Oversee daily bar operations including beverage quality, presentation, and inventory control.
• Train and coach staff on service techniques, product knowledge, and upselling opportunities.
• Maintain outlet presentation, cleanliness, and proper setup of tables, bars, and service stations.
• Monitor billing procedures and cash handling, including cards and bar tabs.
• Participate in peak periods with hands-on support to uphold service quality.
• Place daily/weekly beverage orders based on business needs and stock levels.
• Check deliveries against purchase orders and verify quantities and quality.
• Conduct monthly stock takes and report variances to finance and audit teams.
• Support cost-control initiatives by minimizing wastage and rotating stock using FIFO.
• Maintain open communication with management and other departments to resolve issues promptly.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the F&B Manager.
