Job summary

Private Advertiser in Singapore is seeking a skilled logistics professional to manage dead freight commitments and optimise slot utilisation across trade lanes. You will analyze performance, prepare financial and operational reports, and collaborate with Operations, Commercial, Finance, and Trade teams to ensure smooth execution.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of experience in NVOCC, dead freight or slot chartering, holding a bachelor’s degree in business or commerce.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely fulfilment and utilisation of dead freight commitments across assigned trade lanes.
• Monitor vacant slots and identify opportunities to optimise dead freight slot utilisation.
• Prepare and maintain regular BSA, P&L, slot rate, and dead freight reports with accurate data.
• Monitor trade lane performance and highlight gaps, risks, and areas requiring corrective action.
• Support contingency planning and coordinate with relevant locations to resolve operational and commercial issues.
• Ensure standardisation and accuracy of BSA, P&L, and Slot Rate files across assigned trade lanes.
• Assist the team in preparing model ship calculations, analysis, and presentations for management review.
• Coordinate and maintain strong working relationships with feeder operators to support effective slot utilisation and commercial requirements.
• Work closely with internal teams including Operations, Commercial, Finance, and Trade teams to ensure smooth execution of dead freight commitments.
• Provide regular updates to management on slot utilisation, dead freight performance, P&L, and key trade lane issues.
