Job summary

SimplyGo Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Manager (Senior Engineer) to lead design and development of ticketing devices and oversee their deployment across the public transport network in Singapore.

You will coordinate with designers, suppliers and stakeholders to ensure reliable system performance and maintain documentation. Key tasks include device development, infrastructure setup, project support at MRT stations and bus interchanges, and technical troubleshooting to minimise disruptions.

Qualifications

• Strong training in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• 2–4 years of experience in M&E-related projects.
• Ability to interpret technical diagrams and hardware specifications.
• Proficiency in CAD drawing software (AutoCAD or SolidWorks) is an advantage.
• Effective stakeholder and vendor management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, enhancement and integration of ticketing devices and ensure system reliability.
• Coordinate and support setup, fabrication and installation of ticketing kiosks and infrastructure.
• Represent the department to coordinate with external stakeholders, contractors and relevant parties on ticketing device projects.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting and fault investigation for ticketing devices to minimise disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, reliability and regulatory standards through document control.
• Support asset replacement and enhancement initiatives to improve operational efficiency.

As an Assistant Manager (Senior Engineer), Ticket Service Provider, you will lead in the design and development of ticketing devices and oversee the planning and implementation of ticketing devices across the public transport network. You will also coordinate with stakeholders, manage asset replacement and troubleshooting, and ensure proper documentation to support reliable system performance.

Key Tasks You Will Be Involved In

1. Ticketing Device Development and System Integration

• Lead the development, enhancement and integration of ticketing machines to improve system performance, compatibility and operational reliability.
• Collaborate with design teams, suppliers and stakeholders on technical and integration requirements.

2. Infrastructure Setup and Implementation Support

• Coordinate and support the setup, fabrication and assembly of ticketing kiosks and ticketing office infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with design specifications and operational readiness through monitoring of installation activities, workmanship quality and implementation schedules.

3. Stakeholder and Project Support Management

• Represent the department to coordinate with external stakeholders, contractors and relevant parties on ticketing device-related projects.
• Support project coordination, infrastructure planning and implementation activities for MRT stations and bus interchanges.

4. Technical Support and Reliability Improvement

• Provide technical support, troubleshooting and fault investigation for ticketing devices to minimise operational disruptions.
• Analyse electrical and electronic system issues, implement corrective actions and recommend design enhancements to improve device reliability.

5. Safety, Compliance and Documentation Management

• Ensure compliance with safety, reliability and regulatory standards through effective document control.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions and project documentation.
• Monitor document validity and support audit and operational requirements.

6. Asset Enhancement and Continuous Improvement Management

• Support asset replacement and enhancement initiatives to improve operational efficiency and long-term system sustainability.
• Evaluate ticketing device components, identify improvement opportunities and implement engineering best practices for ticketing systems.

This role might be for you if you have:
