This role will identify, cultivate and deliver partnerships that bring creative activations, sponsorships and programming to life—helping build a strong ecosystem of collaborators, ambassadors and advocates around the brand.
Working closely with the brand, marketing, creative and venue teams, the role will translate relationships into tangible outcomes, including revenue opportunities, compelling experiences and sustained footfall.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic & Community Partnerships
- Identify and nurture strategic brand, institutional, cultural and creative partnerships aligned with New Bahru’s positioning.
- Strengthen relationships and develop partnership ideas that translate into meaningful collaborations, activations and programming.
- Manage partnerships end-to-end—from outreach and pitching to coordination, execution and follow-through.
- Contribute to growing New Bahru’s reputation as a place where meaningful partnerships and creative collaborations thrive.
- Revenue Partnerships
- Drive partnership revenue through sponsorships, venue bookings, advertising placements and co-created initiatives.
- Work with internal teams to package and commercialise partnership opportunities across the development.
- Ensure partnerships deliver mutual value for both New Bahru its community.
- Ambassador Programme
- Nurture and further strengthen an ambassador network of creators, tastemakers and community figures aligned with the brand.
- Identify and co-create opportunities for ambassadors to develop meaningful content, experiences and advocacy for New Bahru.
- Manage relationships to ensure authentic, long-term engagement with the brand.
- Project Management
- Manage stakeholders effectively, ensuring alignment across teams and timely approvals.
- Act as the primary liaison for partners, ensuring clear communication and mutual value delivery.
- Work with internal teams and tenants to translate partnerships into events, ad placements, campaigns and programming that support business goals while maintaining strong brand alignment and operational feasibility.
- Manage partnership budgets responsibly, ensuring effective use of resources and strong return on investment.
Key Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in partnerships, marketing, business development, events, or a related field.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and work effectively with brands, creatives, partners and internal stakeholders.
- Commercially minded, with the ability to identify partnership opportunities that create value for both brand and business.
- Strong project management capabilities, able to manage multiple collaborations from concept through execution.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence in pitching ideas and representing the organisation externally.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage timelines, stakeholders and deliverables.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and evolving environment, where collaboration and initiative are valued.
