Job summary

PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a project manager for a 9-month maternity cover based at Kent Ridge. You will govern infrastructure delivery, develop standards, and coordinate feasibility studies with stakeholders across the hospital cluster.

The role requires at least 2 years in complex, live-environment A&A, with preference for healthcare infrastructure experience, strong communication, and ability to manage multiple tasks and teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in complex, live-environment A&A.
• Experience in healthcare infrastructure or commercial projects is advantageous.
• Experience in owner/developer settings is advantageous.
• High technical competency and familiarity with local authority requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop project governance policies and processes for consistent infrastructure delivery.
• Develop technical standards and ensure alignment with hospital infrastructure and design.
• Engage users for feasibility studies on rejuvenation projects.
• Lead design development of projects.
• Procurement of consultancy and construction packages.
• Review and approve schedules, method statements, and permits to work during construction.
• Oversee consultants and contractors per contracts.
• Lead engagement with local authorities.
• Prepare cost estimates, scope of work, and Bill of Quantities.

Duration: 9 months contract (Maternity Cover)

Location: Kent Ridge

Key responsibilities

• Develop project governance policies and processes to enable consistency in the delivery of infrastructure projects in the cluster.

• Develop technical standards for cluster infra projects and ensure standardisation and alignment with overall hospital's infrastructure and design in the projects.

• Engage users to carry out feasibility studies for hospital rejuvenation projects.

• Lead the design development of projects.

• Procurement of consultancy and construction packages for the implementation of the projects.

• Review and approve project schedules, method statements, material submissions and permits to work during construction stage.

• Oversee and manage consultants and contractors in the delivery of their services in accordance with their contract terms.

• To lead engagement with local authorities.

• Prepare cost estimates, scope of work and Bill of Quantities.

• Prepare minutes of meetings, reports, and presentation materials.

Requirements

• Min. 2 years of professional experience with focus on complex, live-environment A&A.

• Experience with healthcare infrastructure or commercial projects will be an advantage.

• Experience in owner/developer setting will be an advantage.

• High level of technical competency.

• Familiar with local authority requirements.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to build and maintain good working relationships across departments and teams.

• Ability to multi-task and manage ambiguities effectively in the course of work.

• Team player and able to collaborate with stakeholders of various functions.
