Job summary

Adecco is seeking a capable project manager to lead and coordinate retail store planning and construction from concept to completion in Singapore. You will ensure timely delivery, budget control, quality execution, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners, with up to 50% regional travel.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience in retail construction and proficiency in CAD, Photoshop, MS Project, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Manage retail store development and construction projects ensuring timely delivery and budgets.
  • Oversee openings, renovations, fixtures, and roll-out projects with landlords, architects, and vendors.
  • Monitor schedules, budgets, tenders, site inspections, and progress against brand standards.
  • Provide technical support for store maintenance and contribute to cost tracking and process improvements.
  • Coordinate multiple regional projects independently with strong stakeholder management.

Job description

To lead and coordinate retail store planning and construction projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget control, quality execution, and effective collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders and external partners.

Adecco is collaborating with one of the global luxury fashion company that designs, markets, and sells premium handbags, accessories, footwear, apparel, and lifestyle products through a portfolio of internationally recognised brands.

Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for managing retail store development and construction projects ensuring timely delivery, quality execution, and budget compliance.
  • Oversees new store openings, renovations, fixture installations, and roll out projects while coordinating with landlords, architects, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.
  • Monitors project schedules, budgets, tendering processes, site inspections, and construction progress to ensure adherence to brand standards and operational requirements.
  • Provides technical support for store maintenance, prepares project reports, and contributes to cost tracking and continuous process improvements.
  • This role requires strong project management, stakeholder coordination, and the ability to manage multiple projects independently, with frequent regional travel.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 3-5 years of experience in retail construction, fit-out management, and store opening projects.
  • Demonstrates strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in CAD, Photoshop, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Highly organised, analytical, and adaptable, with sound decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills. Willing to travel extensively, with up to 50% regional travel required.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Strong project management experience in retail store development, fit-out, or construction projects.
  • Experience managing multiple regional projects simultaneously.
  • Background from in-house retail companies or retail fit-out/main contractors.
  • Candidates from brands such as fast fashion retailers, or retail design/build firms are highly preferred.
  • Technical engineering expertise is not required; strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills are essential.
  • Able to work independently, prioritize competing deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced regional environment.
